Dr. Caponetti received her PhD from the University of Tennessee in 2012 in Business Administration.  She is a tenure Track instructor at Pellissippi State Community College teaching Management and Marketing.  Her research has been on non-exempt agricultural workers and their stress, engagement and burnout levels. In addition, she has researched sustainable agriculture practices with farmers and female heads of household. She started an annual toy drive at UTIA in 2008 and also founded the UTIA grow More Give More program to provide fresh produce to local food banks and shelters. Dr. Caponetti enjoys teaching and helping her students to be successful as well as the opportunity to give back to her community.
