Man with farm equipmentConditions around our farmsteads and things we do every day can put the quality of our water at risk. It's easy to overlook them. Test yourself. This video clip includes two practices which may put water quality at risk. Can you identify them? Questions 7 and 9 in the "Assessing Your Pesticide Storage and Handling" factsheet may help.

groundwaterGround-water is an important resource. It supplies wells and springs and recharges surface water bodies. Groundwater is the source of drinking water for many Tennesseans. But, groundwater is easy to overlook because it is underground. This video clip includes information about this important resource, as well as ways to safeguard it.

This project is funded, in part, under an agreement with the Tennessee Department of Agriculture, Nonpoint Source Program, and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA).

Additional funding for the video was provided by the Agricultural Nonpoint Water Pollution Control Fund of the Tennessee Department of Agriculture.
