What are the prerequisites?

Students applying for admission to our programs are generally expected to have at least a "B" average on undergraduate coursework.

  • MS in Agricultural Economics (thesis and non-thesis), or Natural Resource Economics (thesis) prerequisites:
    » Intermediate Microeconomics Theory (3 hours)
    » Intermediate Macroeconomics Theory (3 hours)
    » Statistics (6 hours)
    » Calculus (3 hours)

  • Dual MS/MBA Program
    » prerequisite - Calculus (3 hours)
    » recommended background - Intermediate Microeconomic Theory (3 hours)
    » recommended background - Statistics (3-6 hours)

  • Natural Resources PhD with concentration in Natural Resource Economics
    » Recommended background: MS degree from accredited university or college
