Through a grant from the Tennessee Soybean Promotion
Board, a publication entitled "The Importance of Basis in Marketing
Soybeans" was developed. The publication contains basis data
for 6 Tennessee marketing reporting districts. The basis data are
based on 10 years of local cash prices and nearby Chicago futures
prices. The publication also contains basis data on cash forward

Soybean Market Analysis Spreadsheet
The soybean
market analysis spreadsheet examines several market alternatives,
given current market information. To utilize the spreadsheet, go
to the "Input" folder, and type in the information requested.
Then go to the "Summary" folder where the marketing alternatives
are compared over a range of possible harvest prices.
