Graduate student, Amanda Jenkins, was awarded Outstanding Senior Woman in Agriculture at Murray State, in Murray, Kentucky, last week. Amanda attended the Award Ceremony last Wednesday, February 27. She graduated from Murray State last December and began her graduate program Spring Semester at UT in Agricultural Economics. Dr. Margarita Velandia is her major professor.

The Annual Collegiate Discussion Meet is scheduled for Wednesday, March 5th. The Meet will be held in Room 212A Morgan Hall beginning at 4:00 p.m. The Discussion Meets are sponsored by the Tennessee Farm Bureau and hosted by the Ag Business Club and the Department of Agricultural Economics. Students from ALL undergraduate majors in the College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources are strongly encouraged to participate.
